Restored Villa E.1027 by Eileen Gray joins Iconic Houses

The outstanding Art Deco designer Eileen Gray turned her hand to architecture with this villa (1927-9), intended for summer vacations with her lover Jean Badovici. She chose a remote location on the rocks facing the sea with a distant view of Monte Carlo, that you can enjoy too, on your visit.

Welcome to Hawaii's Liljestrand House!

Designed in 1948 and completed in 1952, Liljestrand House is the iconic example of Vladimir Ossipoff's work and of mid-twentieth century Hawaiian modern architecture. Furniture, built-in interiors, and contents, designed or selected by the architect, remain in original condition. Notes, memos, sketches, all architectural documentation, letters describing construction and photos still exist.

Cape Cod Modern House Trust joins network with Weidlinger House 

Designed by pioneering engineer Paul Weidlinger and built in 1953, this house has been vacant and in danger of demolition since the late 1990s. In 2012 the Cape Cod Modern House Trust obtained a lease and concluded its restoration summer 2014. Together with the Hatch Cottage and Kugel/Gips House this house can be yours for the holiday!

Casa Vicens is the first masterpiece of the architect Antoni Gaudi. The house, conceived as a summer residence with a garden, stands out for its geometrical shapes and the use of ceramics in its facades. The internal and external ornamentation is inspired by the surrounding vegetation, forming a home-garden from the outside to the inside.
