Welcome Joris Lens House!
Modernist architect Huib Hoste designed this house for lawyer Joris Lens in Mechelen in 1934. The lawyer’s practice was located on the ground floor, while living room and dining room are positioned on the first floor to take advantage of the interesting view. The authentic fitted furnishings are intact; the freestanding items of furniture designed for the house were recuperated and other pieces by Hoste were added.

Join us for a Virtual Tour of a Papaverhof Home in 3D
Papaverhof, in residential neighborhood Daal en Berg in The Hague, was designed by Jan Wils (1921) and  is a popular stop on tours for architects and architecture students from the Netherlands and abroad. Residents however, live in the houses and can not always facilitate a tour of the interior of their homes, especially not when groups count 30 people or more. To relieve the residents, a virtual 3D tour of a model home has been developed that can be enjoyed from your sofa at home.
