| 5th Anniversary of Iconic Houses | In November 2012, a group of 20 house museum professionals gathered at the Schindler House in LA for an intimate but festive launch of a new international platform and network: Iconic Houses. Their website, iconichouses.org, shows residential masterpieces from the 20th century around the globe that are open to the public as house museums. Five years and four conferences later (London, Barcelona, Los Angeles and New Canaan May 2018) the number of members and impact of their cooperation has grown. Besides architecturally significant houses, Iconic Houses also connects now artists’ homes and studios. The platform focuses on conservation, management, policy and cooperation. We thank our member house museums and Friends of Iconic Houses for their continued support to realise our mission!
