| Welcome Villa Stiassni in Brno! | Designed by Brno architect Ernst Wiesner, Villa Stiassni was built between 1927 and 1929 for Jewish textile manufacturer Alfred Stiassni. The Stiassni family lived in the villa for just nine years, fleeing in 1938 before the imminent Nazi occupation. Together with Villa Tugendhat and Jurkovic House, Villas Stiassni is our third member house in Brno and tenth in the Czech Republic, including the Plzen and Prague house museums.

| Rietveld Homes in Reeuwijk: A Reprieve? | Dutch national monument organization the Cuypers Society says that the intended demolition of 46 (of a total of 52) Rietveld homes in Reeuwijk must be stopped. Reeuwijk Housing Association planned to spare only one residential block of eight homes. The Cuypers Society is calling on the municipality of Bodegraven-Reeuwijk and the owner to restore all of the homes instead.
