Welcome Villa Stiassni in Brno!
Designed by Brno architect Ernst Wiesner, Villa Stiassni was built between 1927 and 1929 for Jewish textile manufacturer Alfred Stiassni. The Stiassni family lived in the villa for just nine years, fleeing in 1938 before the imminent Nazi occupation. Together with Villa Tugendhat and Jurkovic House, Villas Stiassni is our third member house in Brno and tenth in the Czech Republic, including the Plzen and Prague house museums.
