Michiel Schuijer receives Comenius Fellowship of €500.000,- | Good news! Michiel Schuijer has received a Comenius Leadership Fellow grant of € 500.000,-, to set up a new bachelor and master programme for Conservatorium-students who also want to develop their academic skills. The new study programme will take shape during the next three years.

Comenius programme 2021: put your vision on education into practice | Preparations for the Comenius programme of 2021 are in full swing. The programme enables lecturers and researchers to put their vision of education into practice. From now on, education professionals can submit their ideas for innovation projects for the Comenius programme of 2021. The innovation can take place within a course/teaching unit (Teaching Fellows), an entire programme (Senior Fellows) or across one or more academies (Leadership Fellows).

| Mavis Carrilho appointed as quartermaster for a Diversity in the Arts research group | Mavis Carrilho will be the quartermaster for the newly to be established Diversity in the Arts research group. Carrilho specializes in, among other things, development programs for organizations in the field of diversity and inclusion. She will prepare the way for a new research group that wants to deepen and broaden the knowledge of and experience with diversity in the arts.

- METRO, a project by the Academy of Architecture and the City of Amsterdam, is included in the publication The (hidden) value of practice-oriented research at universities of applied sciences (in Dutch).

Hester Dibbits, lector Cultural Heritage, takes part in the EU funded CENTRINNO-project. She received €400.000,- for the Reinwardt Academy's part in the project.
- Are you already familiar with ArtechLAB Amsterdam? Within this research lab, part of the Breitner Academy, art education and artists are inspired by science and technology.
- Reading tip: Master research interviews with, among others, Sophie Wright and Misho Antadze. They will soon graduate from the Film Academy.

City Deal Kennis Maken | City Deal Kennis Maken (Making Knowledge) is a collaboration of Amsterdam-based knowledge institutes. The aim is to set up a sustainable local knowledge infrastructure for urban issues. Together with other directly involved parties (think of residents, entrepreneurs and companies) we develop, share and distribute knowledge about these issues. For example, by publishing our research on OpenResearch. |
