| Welcome Van Buuren Museum & Gardens in Brussels! | Built in 1928, the house of banker and arts patron David van Buuren has a typical Amsterdam School exterior. The Art Deco interior is a unique ensemble of rare furniture, carpets, stained glass, sculptures and paintings dating from the 16th to the 20th century. The gardens, designed at the end of the 1920s by Jules Buyssens and in the 1960s by René Pechère, are a tour de force of landscaping in themselves.

| Adopt an Icon at Risk - PLEASE DONATE | Thanks to your donations, we can add new listings to our Icons at Risk Watch List. Worldwide, we have researched 30 houses and need your help to publish them. The Iconic Houses Foundation, like many non-profits, is in a precarious position due to Covid-19. Please donate to help us continue putting these houses in the spotlight to (hopefully) save them from demolition.
