The new academic year had started! The researchers of the AHK have been busy during the recent months. Awarded grants, published books and planned events: you can read it all in this newsletter.
AHK-researchers talk about their work on ARIAS-podcast Voiceblind
Fortunately, the work of researchers and artists has continued despite the pandemic. And you can hear that in Voiceblind. This podcast, produced by ARIAS, shows a multitude of voices, including from several researchers connected to the AHK.

Three AHK-researchers receive Comenius grant
Liesbeth Koot (ATD), Nathalie Roos (Arts Education research group), and Mario Jellema (Cultural Heritage research group) have received the Comenius Teaching Fellow grant. The themes of the three studies are respectively; student welfare, arts, activism & education, and nutrition, food & heritage.

Academy for Musicology and Musicianship Amsterdam launched
On September 15, the Academy for Musicology and Musicianship Amsterdam (AMMA) was festively launched. The AMMA was developed by Michiel Schuijer who received a Comenius Leadership Fellowship for this purpose. He talked about this in the previous newsletter.

Special publication Architecture & Circular Thinking research group
The publication Eight Strategies for Circular Design was recently published, featuring student work from the Academy of Architecture and Cornell University. The edition is limited, but if you're interested, you can email avb-studiesecretariaat@ahk.nl to receive a copy.
DAS presents: Fieldings – a book on artistic research
DAS Publishing is proud to present: Fieldings – Propositions for 3rd Cycle Research in the Performing Arts. This book, made in collaboration with researchers from the programme THIRD, introduces you to different perspectives and examples of artistic research.

Watch: kickoff project CENTRINNO
Cultural Heritage research group is a partner in the European project CENTRINNO. The kickoff took place in Pakhuis de Zwijger on 6 October. Hester Dibbits, among others, took part in the conversation about urban development, work and perspective.
