| Welcome the Plant at Kyle! | Built in 1990 by Lake Flato Architects, the Plant at Kyle in Texas is the result of dismantling the 1920s Alamo Cement Plant in San Antonio and relocating it as an eight-bay steel-frame shed cut into three pavilions: a central building with a bedroom and study; a screened volume enclosing a stone kitchen and living area; and covered parking that now houses a pool. The current owners open the house for tours, vacations, and event rentals.

| Save the Date! 24 February: Inside Iconic Houses – Roland Reisley House | Join us for the first 2022 Inside Iconic Houses tour! We visit Roland Reisley's Usonian House in Pleasantville, New York, with Kirstin Stone. At the age of 26, Reisley found himself – completely unexpectedly – the client of Frank Lloyd Wright when, having bought a plot in the new Usonian community of North Westchester, the famous architect offered to design his house. Over 70 years later, Reisley still lives there.

| Adopt an Icon at Risk - PLEASE DONATE! | Thanks to your donations, we can add new houses to our Icons at Risk Watch List. As well as the 42 icons already listed, we have 30 more houses on our radar worldwide that need research in order to be published. And we need your support for that. Like many non-profits, the Iconic Houses Foundation is in a precarious position due to Covid. Please donate to help us continue putting these houses in the spotlight to try to save them from demolition. Your support means so much to us: thank you!
