| | Welcome Maison Cauchie in Brussels! | Maison Cauchie is one of the most original works of the Brussels Art Nouveau, both influenced by the work of the Glasgow architect Charles Rennie Mackintosh and by the achievements of the Viennese Secession. Paul Cauchie (1875-1952), painter, graphic designer, furniture designer and architect, brilliantly illustrates the various facets of the decorative revival marked by Art Nouveau.

| | Expanded Post Conference Tour Program 27-30 May | In addition to Villa Beer and Margarethe Schütte-Lihotzky's former apartment in Vienna and Haus Dellacher in Oberwart, we will also visit houses in the Werkbund Housing Estate in Vienna by Gerrit Rietveld, Josef Hoffmann and Adolf Loos. A very special visit will be the tour of private Villa Rezek by Hans Glas (1933) and we decided to make a detour to also include the Domenig Steinhaus in Steindorf!

| | Hurray! 10 Years Iconic Houses! | It’s 10 years now since Iconic Houses was launched. Natascha Drabbe reflects on its first decade. What has been achieved? 'So much! Above all perhaps, we have doubled our house membership and moved towards a much broader mission. Initially, we just wanted to inform people how to visit the houses. We still do that, but we have also branched out into defending icons at risk, creating a valuable toolkit for house owners, raising awareness, and advocating for younger heritage.'
