| Two New Members, One Shared Spirit | We are delighted to welcome two remarkable new members to the Iconic Houses network: LongHouse Reserve in East Hampton, New York, and Turn End in Haddenham, Buckinghamshire, UK.
Though separated by an ocean, these two unique homes share a common philosophy. Both were designed and lived in by visionary artists—Jack Lenor Larsen at LongHouse and Peter Aldington at Turn End—who not only shaped their houses, but also cultivated extraordinary gardens that reflect their deep connection to nature, craft, and place.
Each site stands as a living legacy: a fusion of architecture, landscape, and creative vision, offering an inspiring and immersive experience to all who visit. We’re thrilled to have them join our global family of Iconic Houses. |

Visitors can explore a vibrant mix of curated and permanent outdoor artworks, along with Larsen’s rich collection of sculpture and mid-century modern furniture inside.

| | New In Our Network: Turn End in Haddenham, UK | Three village houses (The Turn, Middle Turn and Turn End) were designed and built in the 1960s, Peter and Margaret Aldington doing much of the building work themselves. They received a Royal Institute of British Architects Award for Architecture in 1970. In 1998, the three buildings were added to the list of buildings of special architectural or historic interest.
