After an emotional breakdown, he is unexpectedly called by Herman (65), an unknown man on a houseboat. What starts as an uncomfortable phone call, ends in an absurd, musical journey towards connection and self-insight. To kick of the evening, audience members are invited to join a collective sound walk exploring listening and our senses, becoming more aware of our own body, movements and sounds. It is followed by a performance from musician and recording artist Xenia Gott. They are painted and signed photo prints of fragmented, clock-like figures, which have been taken out of their normal context. 'Geel' will be published, the novella Basje wrote at the request of Uitgeverij Oevers, as part of their colour series. 'Geel' is about an Amsterdam writer in Maastricht, about being alone and being together, fictional and real cities; about Maastricht, Amsterdam and the New York we only know from films.
