| | Yael Davids: A Daily Practice includes The School, a programme of thematic Feldenkrais lessons composed by Davids in relation to works from the museum’s collection. During an (English) Feldenkrais lesson, participants are guided through a series of movements. The method was developed by Moshé Feldenkrais (1904-1984) based on the principle that changing the way we move leads to a change in how we think, observe and feel. During a Feldenkrais lesson, the teacher describes – with spoken word – a series of movements which the participants are invited to carry out. The movements often use the torso muscles, such as rolling and sitting. These lessons will take place in the central room of the exhibition, which will be temporarily closed for other visitors. You can join with or without Feldenkrais experience.
Advance booking is required. Participation in the class is free on presentation of a valid admission ticket with time slot. However, if you reserve a place and are unable to attend you must inform the museum three days before the class.
