To prevent demolition of "Nemazee Villa" designed by Italian Architect Gio Ponti
Why this petition matters
"Nemazee Villa" designed by Italian Architect Giovanni Ponti in 1957 is located in North of Tehran (Niavaran district) Iran. This masterpiece of modern architecture is under threat of a total demolition (to be replaced by a hotel complex).
This magnificent example of Gio Ponti's architecture in the world is also his only works inaltered in the Middle East. (Since In 2003 the development board building also designed by Gio Ponti in Baghdad Irak was partly destroyed by war and is now under Unesco rehabilitation project )
We believe that such a masterpiece is part of world heritage and should remain saved and immutable in its construction.
It's our duty to inform and alert all the art lovers and architectural protectors around the world.
