Raymond Neutra Reports - Checking Out Dutch Modernists
In connection with his book Cheap and Thin: Neutra and Frank Lloyd Wright, Richard Neutra's son Raymond gave a sold-out lecture at Museum Het Schip in Amsterdam. The John  Adams Institute co-hosted the event. Iconic Houses connected him with the owners of a few private houses designed by Rietveld in the early 1960s and there were remarkable connections between them and the work of his father.

Danish Moderns - Copenhagen Mini Seminar Report
At a mini-seminar in Copenhagen in May, initiated by Realdania By & Byg, over 40 Iconic Houses members participated in a round-table discussion about developing an annual trip for Friends Circles of our member's house museums and Friends Circle of our own organization. The findings of a trial trip will be disseminated among our members. The link gives an impression of the Modern Danish masterpieces that we toured.

Welcome Museu Chillida Leku!
Founded by Eduardo Chillida himself, Chillida Leku is home to the most comprehensive body of the sculptor's works. Located near San Sebastián, Spain, it comprises a sculpture park and an exhibition space inside a converted traditional Basque country house from the 16th century. The place was purchased in the 1980s by Chillida and his wife Pilar Belzunce, who dedicated the next 15 years to sensitively restoring it.
