DAS Research organizes Mini Fieldings Forum

'Imagination in Transitions': Four universities of applied sciences enable more practical research
Together with three other universities of applied sciences, the AHK will set up a national knowledge centre aimed at the social earning capacity of the cultural sector. In 'Imagination in Transitions' nine research groups continue working together as a SPRONG-group.

CENTRINNO Consortium Meeting
The Cultural Heritage research group co-hosted a Consortium Meeting in October as part of the CENTRINNO project. 55 participants, including designers, architects, policymakers and heritage professionals, collaborated creatively on the various topics

Two peer-reviewed articles by the Arts Education research group
The first article, Bring Fake News into the World, is an evaluative research study that explored how principles of authentic art education can be implemented in Dutch elementary schools. The second article, Does the body count as evidence? explores the embodied pedagogical content knowledge concerning rhythm skills of a Dutch specialist preschool music teacher.
Researchers moving forward towards European collaboration opportunities
On 8 November, the AHK Research Centre held a workshop on EU grants. Jonathan Even-Zohar gave a presentation of the various options. The twelve participants represented all research groups. They started to think about whether and how they could make use of the existing options.

In line with this, Jonathan would like to draw everyone's attention to an interactive tool for EU funding in the field of art and culture that was launched last week by NEMO (Network of European Museum Organisations).

The Architecture & Circular Thinking research group collaborates with the City of Purmerend
Working towards a circular transition in construction, a collaboration has been formed between the City of Purmerend and the Architecture & Circular Thinking research group, led by Peter van Assche. They recently organized a session in the Culture Club to brainstorm about possible circular strategies. (Image: Luuk Kramer)
 
Sven Stremke and Dirk Oudes give masterclass
Lector Sven Stremke and PhD researcher Dirk Oudes of the High-Density Energy Landscapes research group recently gave a masterclass 'Sun and wind' for (prospective) councilors and deputies of the province of Gelderland, organized by the Gelders Energy Agreement (GEA).

'We are a lab for the professional field, precisely because many lecturers have dual functions and can learn and experiment with us', says president of the Executive Board Bert Verveld in the Strategic research agenda, published by the Vereniging Hogescholen.

Call 'Small projects for NWA routes 21/22' open
Within this call for proposals the route management of each NWA route can apply for funding for up to 3 small projects. For the Art route, applications concern research in and by the arts.
