Paul Schweikher’s house and studio was built in 1938 in Schaumburg, Illinios, USA, following an inspiring visit to Japan. It is a sophisticated blend of eastern and western sensibilities. The second residents, Manhattan Project scientist Dr. Alex Langsdorf and Doomsday Clock creator, Martyl Langsdorf, lived in the house for 60 years and were excellent stewards of the property, preserving the structure in near original condition.
