Welcome Villa Trapenard by Rob Mallet Stevens!
This modernist villa is designed by Mallet-Stevens in 1932 for his friend, Jacques Trapenard. It is the only work by Mallet-Stevens to demonstrate Le Corbusier's five points of modern architecture: pilotis, free design of the ground plan, free design of the facade, horizontal windows and a roof garden. The current owners are committed to sharing this gem of 20th Century French heritage to the public.

Volunteer for the Iconic Houses Research Group!
In some countries, active researchers are using their networks to find potential new modern house museums that meet the criteria to become an affiliated museum of Iconic Houses. Would you enjoy looking for modern museum homes that are not yet part of Iconic Houses? Then join our research group! Contact Natascha Drabbe at ndrabbe@iconichouses.org if you would like to get involved.
Adopt an Icon at Risk - PLEASE DONATE!
Thanks to your donations, we can add new houses to our Icons at Risk Watch List. 42 icons are already listed, but we have more houses on our radar that need research in order to be published. And we need your support for that. Please donate to help us continue putting these houses in the spotlight to hopefully save them from demolition. Your support means so much to us:
Thank you!
