THE METAMORPHOSIS OF MATTER
Exhibition
@ Mediamatic, Amsterdam

With a.o. Elena Khurtova, Vibeke Mascini

Matter flows through forms, constantly shifting between various states of being, never settling, its materiality always temporary. Some works in this exhibition attempt to grasp the flows of matter, others highlight how the autonomous and energetic properties of materials have global and environmental effects.

@ Buurtwerkplaats Noorderhof, Amsterdam

The main idea is to share skills, knowledge, learn and make together. Everyone is welcome, with priority and special space for women and the queer community.

Le Bateau is an Amsterdam-based designer duo, comprised of Laëtitia Delauney and Aurélia Noudelmann. These boats are created by and for inclusive initiatives in close collaboration with participating artists. They approach their practice physically and conceptually: to facilitate rooms to reflect on community practices, especially for feminist and queer initiatives.

TRAVERSER LA TEMPÊTE
RietveldTV by Roxane Mbanga

“Dakar, November 2023. With a camera in hand, I capture fragments of the capital. My exploration into how the gaze of others influences the perception of our female bodies continues. Here, I collect the stories of Senegalese women. How do they embody their femininity? What is the impact of the women in their surroundings, of society, on their essence? I unveil the city, and these women narrate it for you. Together, we wander through the city via their lived experiences.”
