Dutch Design Week bij het Van Abbemuseum

Met diverse tentoonstellingen en projecten geniet je tijdens Dutch Design Week bij het Van Abbemuseum van vernieuwde kunst en design, zowel binnen als buiten de muren van het museum. Klim in de installatie van Temitayo Ogunbiyi, bekijk de expositie van 1m2 Collective op slecht één vierkante meter grondoppervlak en bezoek de bijzondere installaties van Afaina de Jong in de vitrines op Eindhoven Airport.

De Edelkoort collectie

De collectie is…De Edelkoort collectie combineert circa 50 designobjecten van Lidewij Edelkoort op poëtische wijze met beeldende kunst uit de museumcollectie. In maar liefst 10 zalen ontdek je in deze expositie hoe dicht kunst en design nou eigenlijk écht bij elkaar liggen. In samenwerking met Kazerne, Home of Design.

Embassy of Inclusive Society

22 t/m 30 oktober 2022

Hoe kunnen we samen werken aan een inclusieve samenleving? Met ontmoetingsruimtes en workshops onderzoekt Embassy of Inclusive Society tijdens DDW deze vraag in het Van Abbemuseum. Dit project benadert inclusie als een proces van leren en afleren en omarmt het ongemak dat inclusie soms met zich meebrengt.

Tijdens DDW van 22 t/m 30 oktober 2022 bezoek je het volledige programma bij het Van Abbemuseum met een DDW-polsbandje (online: €23, aan de deur: € 26,50). Met een regulier museumticket (€13) is een gedeelte van het programma toegankelijk.

Openingstijden tijdens Dutch Design Week

Tijdens DDW is het Van Abbemuseum geopend van zaterdag 22 t/m zondag 30 oktober 2022 van 11 tot 18 uur, ook op maandag 24 oktober. Buiten deze periode om gelden de reguliere openingstijden van dinsdag t/m zondag van 11 tot 17 uur.

Winnaars Eindhoven Cultuurprijs

Bij de feestelijke uitreiking van de Eindhoven Cultuurprijs op 10 oktober won RaRaRadio de stimuleringsprijs en filmmaker Tom Elswijk de waarderingsprijs. Van harte gefeliciteerd!

Dutch Design Week at the Van Abbemuseum

During Dutch Design Week, you have the opportunity to enjoy innovative art and design at the Van Abbemuseum with various exhibitions and projects. Both inside and outside the museum walls. The Edelkoort collection

The collection is...The Edelkoort collection poetically pairs some 50 design objects from Lidewij Edelkoort’s private collection with works from the museum’s fine art collection. In no fewer than 10 rooms, you discover in this exhibition how close the ties between art and design really are. In cooperation with Kazerne, Home of Design.

Embassy of Inclusive Society

22 to 30 October 2022

How can we work together towards an inclusive society? With meeting spaces and workshops, Embassy of Inclusive Society explores this question at the Van Abbemuseum during DDW. This project approaches inclusion as a process of learning and unlearning and embraces the discomfort that inclusion sometimes brings.

During DDW from 22 to 30 October 2022, you can visit the full programme at the Van Abbemuseum with a DDW wristband (online: €23, at the door: €26.50). A regular museum ticket (€13) allows access to a part of the programme.

Opening times during Dutch Design Week

During DDW, you can visit the Van Abbemuseum between 11am and 6pm from Saturday 22 to Sunday 30 October 2022, including Monday 24 October. Before and after DDW, regular opening hours apply: Tuesday to Sunday from 11am to 5pm.

During a festive presentation on 10 October, RaRaRadio was awarded the incentive prize and filmmaker Tom Elswijk won the appreciation prize. Congratulations!
